Manduláskert House Rules
For us it is most important that everybody has a wonderful time in Mandulaskert. We developed Mandulaskert to be a quiet, peaceful place where everyone can relax. If you decide to stay with us, we kindly ask for your cooperation to make that happen. We have a few requests which if honored can help everyone to have a pleasant stay. Please, observe the following while staying at Manduláskert:
SMOKING
Please, do not smoke inside the houses. You can smoke in the garden and on the terraces. We placed ashtrays there for your convenience.
PETS
Pets are welcome at Mandulaskert but please, let us know in advance if you plan to bring any. For the sake of others, who may not like their company, please, make sure that your pet(s) stay in the area belonging to your guest house and that they don’t soil the garden.
NOISE
Please, do not place (portable) speakers or any other source of amplified sound or play musical instruments in the garden or on the terraces, because it may disturb other guests and the kind people of Szentjakabfa.
We would like to keep Mandulaskert quiet and calm for all our guests before 8 am and after 10 pm. If you would like to organize a program stretching beyond this time, please, consult the Mandulaskert Team in advance.
CHILDREN
Children are welcome at Mandulaskert. We provide some outdoor games for them and are happy to give you suggestions on things to do in the Balaton Felvidék area that they can enjoy. We would appreciate it if you make sure that children staying with you refrain from making excessive noise that may disturb other guests.
Mandulaskert follows the village tradition in that it has open grounds. Make sure that your children always have adequate supervision as they may wander off the property or put themselves in harm's way at the pool situated in the North – East corner of Mandulaskert.
INVITING GUESTS
You may wish to invite guests to Mandulaskert during your stay. That is possible, however no unregistered guests or visitors are allowed in Mandulaskert. Please, consult the Mandulaskert Team if you plan to invite others in.
POOL
The pool is open between 8 am – 8 pm. Use the pool at your own risk. Mandulaskert does not provide a lifeguard service or any other type of supervision. The pool is 145 cm deep. Please, pay extra attention to the safety of children staying with you.
GARDEN USE, MOVING ABOUT
Manduláskert is situated in a 3-acre area. Each guest house has its own assigned garden area and footpaths. Please, observe these boundaries when you move about in Manduláskert.
BREAKFAST
We are happy to provide you with breakfast upon request that we will set up in the kitchen/terrace/outdoor kitchen of your house. We kindly ask you to pre-arrange the timing of your breakfast with our local site manager Monika. When you are finished, please, leave trays, jars, plates etc. that came with the breakfast in place and notify Monika. She will come and collect those then clean up the breakfast area for you.
PANTRY
Our guests can use the Mandulaskert Pantry where they can buy smoked ham, bacon and sausages, wine, jam, granola, and cheese made by local producers we select carefully. If you wish to know more about how to use the pantry, please contact the owner of Mandulaskert, Dora Mester + 36 20 372 9004.
